many activity's such as Girl Scouts of America, Leadership, Student Council, Cheer leading, she was Captain of the Varsity Girls Basketball team, and went to state for Varsity Girls Golf. Cheri also
worked in her family's insurance agency, Bancorp Insurance where she learned the inner workings of small businesses.
What Kind Of Experience Do I Have?
Well I am fresh out of the school and have hit the ground running. I have held jobs in multiple industries throughout college, but excelled as a manager for an outdoor supply store in Ashland Oregon. I enjoyed working with passionate people, who knew what they wanted and always asked for excellence from the products as well as the sales staff. I was in charge of purchasing product, pricing products, hiring staff, displays, and other day to day tasks.
After graduating I was lucky enough to work in my family owned insurance business helping out with their marketing. I became extremely proficient with Agency Revolution a SendPepper software system designed and marketed by Michael Jans to independent insurance agents throughout the US. I started free lancing and helping insurance agency’s with the implementation of their soup to nuts marketing campaigns, and their integration with social media. I now have a small niche market within the Quantum Club/Agency Revolution insurance agents where I have started my own business, Alternative Insurance Marketing Solutions. Most of my customers are similar to you where they do not have the time or money to mess around with a lot of mumbo jumbo. I help them meet their marketing goals or coach their staff on the Agency Revolution software.
What Else Do I Bring To The Table?
I graduated from Southern Oregon University last June with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Minor in Outdoor Adventure Leadership. So what, you might ask? Well with an education focused on business marketing I have the basic knowledge to be an asset, but still am willing to learn and grow. I am also a practiced leader, not only in outdoor activity’s but in my personal and work life.
I have also studied abroad. I spent one year in Istanbul, Turkey sponsored by Rotary International, as well as lived in Chang Mai, Thailand for three months for an international internship with Elephant Nature Park. These experiences abroad have enhanced my ability to adapt to challenging situations, learn quickly, and create meaningful connections with others.

I am now a Rotary member and practice the Rotary motto: service before self; and enjoy helping my local community as well as foreign humanitarian causes. I have danced tap, jazz, modern, and hip-hop for most of my life. I also teach and dance aerial arts, using three point trapeze and silks. I enjoy getting outdoors. I like to backpack, hike, XC Ski, and love spending time on the shore of a river or lake. I am a self-confessed foodie, who loves to cook, but is a better baker.
